In this episode, the hierarchies of Macedonia are rattled to the core by a devastating secret of the King’s true heritage…and the nature of his mother, Olympias. The Secret Ceremony held on Samothrace Island is the key to the secret, and it involves both King Philip and Olympias. It is never revealed in the episode. Also, Alexander launches a battle against Persia for their stolen territories, seeking aid for those that are overruled by the cruel Persian Empire. The King of Persia then orders the entire Empire’s forces on hold, just in case that Macedonia just might make a dent in their superfluous grand armies. Meanwhile, in his library, Aristotle probes at the maddeningly bleak answer to the Pythagorean forces, as a dozen or so of the henchman gather and then fly off to an undisclosed location. Aristotle finds a series of rocks formed into a triangle, and is one step closer to decoding the mystery of Pythagoras…
