Really? Everyone just chill. Who cares if it doesn’t add up depending on the other seasons? Who cares. :/ They did a lot of changes this season and to be honest, I’m pretty impressed. I mean, hey, Ash has personality now! Also, if you want to think realistically about Ash not using his other Pokemon– most likely they’d be in storage. He probably wants to start fresh in a new region or something. I know I would. But that’s beside the point. It’s a kid’s show. When we were younger, we wouldn’t have cared. Why start caring now? It’s not aimed for older viewers so stop complaining.
I personally am enjoying this season very much and will continue to watch it. New animators, more spice, and a great plot-line.

i agree with most comments on here except on y pikachu lost remember he couldn’t use his electric moves 1 volt tackle would have sent snivy flying, true electric moves suck vs grass but this isn’t the game which i cant wait 2 get, but i guess pikachu still should have won with his quick attack

Im 22 now and I started playing back when red and blue came out. Honestly like 4th grade for me. I only checked these out cause I was curious about the 5th gen but omg this is pathetic. Ash never seems to age ever, which is bullcrap. The new pokemon look horrible and have the worst names ever. This is just a slap in the face as far as pokemon goes. I am beyond happy I quit playing after the gold and silver games came out. Second gen was easily the best, after that the games, as well as the show took a huge plunge into some murky waters. Also what happen to brock? Where did he go? And this new girl, omg shes black, wild jumps around a tree, someone at nintendo thought this through ahahahaa.

I think there’s at least one more coming after this too. Somebody that works at my local gamestop said that they’ve already said that there will be a pokemon game for 3DS, which means at least one more generation =( Maybe it’ll be the last and you get to go to all of the regions to fight for once
as long as the pokemon company exists there will be a new generation every 2-4 years
Ash should just pull out his original pokemon from the other regions and destroy the whole league
