That was such a gooood series(: I love happy yet, sad endings. I believe they’re more like real life that way, and we can relate to them. Either way that was an amazing watch and I hope they make another series.

This ending was so sad! I wish they could have ended up together! This was one weird series.
The honesty of that anime made it truly compelling i couldn’t stop crying at the end. Im glad though to see that neither of them gave up their dreams for each other. Life never quite turns out how you intend it to but regardless it’s still beautiful. Some memorys will always stay fresh, like the scent of a first loves cologne and the soft touch of a lover!
I cried like a baby watching that, I loved how the mature the series was, and the realistic way the relationships progressed (unlike 26 episodes of “Oh Hi, How are you :)”). The sad ending is just another way that this series is a bit more “true to life” than others. How many people really stay with the person who they lose their virginity to? If given the opportunity of a life time, how many people would really say no? As I said, I cried like a baby, but loved it!

huh?…who did she marry? i don’t get the ending. the ending is soo crap. i really don’t lyk Ai yazawa’s ending, even tho her animes and mangas are good.:(
who did she marry in the end? it wasnt great ensing but thats life ya know its all depressing in the end the only thing for a person to be happy is being somthing to somone special then you sit back and enjoy the world for what it is because if you dont have anyone its very lonley i think george was only calm on the outside but teared to bits on the inside just like everyone else. he never wanted to be on his own.
Gosh, the ending made me all teary-eyed; it was so realistically depressing.
