first off this also happened about 7 years ago, to a 5 year old who wanted to be gaara, the show wasn’t put on hiatus and the case was settled as neglect for the parent. This is just an excuse people have thought up to make everyone feel bad and should not be taken seriously. There’s probably a good reason why the episodes haven’t been released, so everyone just has to be patient. The next episode come on Disney XD in a few days, so obviously they haven’t cancelled it or anything.

That is one of the dumbest statements I think I’ve ever read. Here’s where you went wrong:
– Firstly, Disney do not “fund” the dubbing of these episodes, the Naruto property belongs to Viz Media and they control the dubbing of the episodes. The funding of the Viz Media comapny is obtained through DVD sales, merchandise sales, manga sales, etc. However, Disney do “fund” Viz Media in that they have bought a licence from them to show Naruto on their network but they have no say in the actual dubbing process but can edit the episodes if they so desire (to cut out blood, swears, etc)
– Secondly, even if Disney decided to terminate their licence with Viz and no longer show Naruto on their network, Viz would have the option of making it straight-to-DVD, finding another network (Adult Swim would be ideal), or doing both.
– And finally, to say that “viz won’t dub it anymore because they don’t have funding” is just so freaking retarded. Viz is a massive, multinational company with dozens of forms of income from stocks & shares to the merchandise sales from the properties they own. They will never stop dubbing Naruto because it’s one of their most profitable properties and it would just be plain stupid.
Hidan & Kakuzu Arc will be dubbed, every other episode will be dubbed, and who the fuck cares if Disney don’t show it anymore because they should never have even gotten it in the first place.

if you really must know why viz is takeing so long to dub naruto theres 2 new characters comeing up from the akatsuki that HAVENT spoken yet they need to hire 2 voice actors for these guys which theyve probably done by now also they will be starting to find 6 voice actors for pein and need a new voice actor for the 3rd hokage flash back they will also be trying to find a voice actor for the 4th hokage and then they will be finding a new voice actor for tobi in his madara form and tobis little brother so theres going to be a few moments of silents all the parts are recorded accept for these there considering actors from other animes such as bleach but really want a new voice in

While waiting, I recommend everyone that hasn’t already started to watch Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood, to go watch. It is, by far, way way better than the first. And one the most amazing anime I have seen. The storyline is incredible and the ending is better than you could imagine. So take a chance to and watch while waiting for ep.66.

The DVD box set for episode 66 comes out on January 25. So it should be too much longer for the episodes to be posted. They usually are posted on Itunes the day after the DVD release. So lets just hope they keep that schedule.

I know a few people said this guy “Viz Media” was a fake account and a liar based on his grammar but i’m not so sure. Viz Media are the ones who recieve all the japan anime then dub them. My guess is the ones that represent or manage the company wouldnt have perfect “english” grammar so the fact that his grammar isn’t perfect makes it more believable to me not less.
On the other hand, Disney XD will be airing episode 65 “Lockdown of Darkness” next wednesday February 26 leaving the network officially all caught up. Hopefully the week after on February 2nd they will air episode 66, I tried to check but my TV guide only goes up to the 29th of February, maybe I can check in a couple days.

Worth noting these episodes come from itunes, if any of you people from America or Canada has an Ipod/Ipad or something able to access Apples store, you’l see that episode 66 does not exist. It isn’t a case of dubhappy witholding the episodes. Also I suggest ignoring people claiming to know when the episode is out, they don’t. If it makes a difference DisneyXD should be up to Episode 66 in the next few weeks, editted episodes aside.

In answer to all those who were wondering about the rumours… they’re just rumours. There’s always a guess, which may or may not have a rational basis, and which is then squelched when the day goes by with no new episode. The reason for this is that Viz is simply not rational…
Current speculation is that it’ll air tomorrow, Jan 12, because (before they started releasing about 3 episodes/week) the episodes were put up on iTunes 1 month (i.e. 4 episodes) in advance of what was airing on Disney XD. Since ep. 66 is scheduled for 2 Feb, there’s a reasonable chance that it’ll be on iTunes one month before: 12 Jan, tomorrow. If not, we should at least get it by February. Please, gods, let it be true this time.

Hi, from Norway here. As every other on this site I`am dying to see more dubbed Naroto episodes. Is there somebody who knows anything new abaout when the new episodes will be out + bonds? I have stopped trying to search the web for answers my self, because everytime i type in naruto on a search engine, i allways gets hints and clues on what will happen later in Shippuuden, by the results. Hope for God sake there isn`t a problem within Viz Media, like voice actors who have quited or somthing like that. But rather like some suggest, they are waiting for the television dubs to catch up. Trying ease the pain by watching Bleach, but was forced to stop at episode 4 or 5 since some of the earliest episodes are missing here (not work). So I`m downloading every episodes (torrent) 28GB!, almost 2 weeks in, and not yet finished. (80%) Thnx to DubHappy for supplying Norway with the newest dubs. Naruto isn`t shown in Norway at all, we have Cartoon Network, and Disney XD, but they are Norwegian dubbed, and for some reason naruto never became dubbed, therfore never aired. But that is probaly a good thing, norwegian voice actors suck bigtime. They ruine everything they touch. sorry fot the long comment, back to the point. Any Updates, news? from people who knows for sure?

i have to wonder why they use the same voice actors to do the same voices in popular anime i mean their great acotrs and their capable of other voices for characters just some food for thought.
Its because they dont have enough actors to voice the 700 characters in every series. and im not just talking about main characters im also talking those minor characters like villagers that are in it for like an episode but like 7 of them speak and they need the voices from somewhere and if they just let anyone voice them it wouldnt sound as good. alot more effort actually goes into dubbing than most people think.

I highly doubt they would post up 20 episodes when they come back. Don’t expect something that may not happen. They’ll probably put 3 episodes up, as they usually do when they go without this long, and bleach had to wait 3 – 4 months for it to come back on air. They’re probably working on voice actors and getting prepared for the movie.

Dubhappy has nothing to do with the dubbing process, they buy the individual episodes when they come available for purchase on iTunes. So quit complaining, it’ll get here eventually. I am doing my best but have to admit: I am beginning to drift away from the Naruto saga. First I have to put up with the gap between the Dub and the Sub (by the way I am about to get on a flight to go find the wiseA** that keeps airing bloody fillers: HATE that)… then the gap per Manga. Thought it was just me but my friends are all in the same boat.

i waited for over 2 months so i could watch all the episodes and now i want to watch them,, it says that there is going to be movie!?!
I haven’t been able to find any real information about the episodes or the movie, so I can only guess. But Viz media lists Zune as an official provider of dubbed shippuden episodes. And Zune is releasing them at the same time as they air on DXD. It’s possible that itunes just got too far ahead of the release schedule that Viz was happy with. So we might well have to wait until the episodes start airing, which at the current pace will be February 9th, I think.
And as for the movie, for some reason that seems to be totally back under wraps. Amazon has a listing for it, but not even a guess for a release date. Dark times for shippuden fans. I’m going to rewatch the chunin exams, I think.

I’ve given up checking…I only look when I come on Dubhappy to watch something else. It’s been what, two monnths now? I hope the next one will come out somewhere around December 11th (as a little birthday present…:P), but I have a feeling it probably won’t..
I am restless while i await the posting of the next episode now that the next movie has been released. Hopefully it will only take them about a week or two to get out a new episode for the actual series so I dont get too bored.

Okay, this is probably the ONLY thing I want to say. I don’t usually give opinions or at least share them on posts or anything like that because I find it to be a hastle. But there are times when I feel like reading other people’s comments. I sometimes get a kick out of what people have to say. But they has been many a time when I wanted to share my thoughts on something but never did because again, I think it’s too much trouble. But this is something I just HAVE to say. Okay, I’ve been reading the comments and have noticed certain comments that have made a lot of people upset and angry. Such as from [insert commentor's name here]. All I have to say is that, yeah I know their comment was MOST LIKELY uncalled for, and probably unnessecary*(didn’t want to check a dictionary for spelling). But is it nessecary*(again same thing) to leave another comment just to complain about their comment? I mean it’s cool that you want to tell them what you’re thinking. But I think it’s kinda pointless to clutter up the comments section with rants on how 2 or 3 people are annoying you. Isn’t it just better to ignore what they say, and to just watch the show, and leave it at that. I mean it’s cool if you want to say what you did or did not like about the show, but when some guy says something you don’t like you don’t need to BLOW IT BACK IN THEIR FACE. In fact, I’m sure they’ll just get a kick out of it. But I don’t know them personally so I really can’t say. And if you’ve got issues with it, try talking about the person with a friend or something, not on the message boards. I just wanted to say, ignoring things this small would be a good deed in my opinion. Also, please don’t try to tell me anything about what I’ve just said, because like my so called (Name) says, it’s a one time only thing. And I probably won’t ever try to post again. Naruto Shippuden NEWS!!!! – With all the people asking the question the question “Where’s the next episode?” i decided to do some research to answer it. I have read about two different reasons. The first one is – the Episodes (Naruto Shippuden: Episode 66 English Dubbed plus) are delayed. Viz Media, the company that Dubs, and releases them, delayed the Episodes (I do not know the reason why). The other story is this –http://tinyurl.com/2w74wg6and because of that Disney stopped broadcasting them. I do not know which if either are true or false they are just reasons for the delay that i’ve heard about and if you wish to do further research and find out if one of them is the real reason please post it as a response to this as i’d like to know the answer to the question as well.

Look, if you want to watch past 65, just watch subbed episodes. Its the same thing, except for the fact you have to read (gasp!!!!) the text instead of listen. Currently, the subbed episodes are at 185. If you really want Shippuden now, make the effort to read subtitles. Otherwise just wait.

If you guys really want to know when it comes out, why don’t you just download itunes and whenever you want to check if the episode is out go to the itunes store and search up Naruto Shippuden Uncut. If you see the list of episodes and it says 66 Episodes then check on dubhappy and watch your heart out =). It can also be checked with an Ipod touch or Iphone, by using the itunes application.

Will you guys stop making a big deal over the voice actors already, they are called actors for a reason.
well I’m not making a big deal. I’m used to hearing the same voice actors in various anime. It’s just annoying sometimes when the same voice actor plays multiple roles in the same anime. They could try to change it up a bit. Like when I hear Ukitake talk I always think of Gaara. Ebisu doesn’t sound too much like Itachi so I don’t really mind. But like Vic Mahagona and Laura Bailey always sound the same with their acting, or similar and it’s just annoying. I know they need work but it shouldn’t ruin a character either…

I don’t think how fast the episodes get dubbed right now is a problem. A while back Kyle Hebert told me that they were really far ahead in the show, so far that they were taking a break from it. There hasn’t been that many episodes posted since then.

No, Kabuto didn’t kill him. BUT, he and Raido (the guy with what looks like a burn scar over part of his face) were severely injured during the episode where Sasuke is on his way to Orochimaru and is put into the coffin after taking the pill. Genma, Raido, Shizune, and Iwashi had just finished a mission and were heading back to Konoha. Genma and Raido stumble upon the Sound Four and not knowing that Sasuke is in the coffin, they engage in battle with them. Genma and Raido are actually pretty strong considering all four of the Sound ninjas had to activate level 2 of their curse seal just to defeat them and that’s how he and Raido were severely injured. :-)
No, the guy they killed was Hayate. That guy is Genma. Both characters wear their hitai-ate as a bandana which I suppose gives them a somewhat similar appearance. But Hayate didn’t carry a senbon in his mouth like Genma. Also Hayate’s hair was darker… well, there are plenty of differences if you look them both up :)
i find it funny that the people that went on to see the subs dont find these episodes as entertaining as we do (the ones that stick to only dub) it’s basically like getting a birthday gift too early in the year….you’ll already know what youre gonna get, so where’s the surprise?
Actually, I watch the subs as well and I DO find the dubs as entertaining. I’m one of the weird ones that likes BOTH the dubs and the subs. ;-) As far as I’m concerned, even though I’ve already seen the episode in sub, it’s just like watching for the first time when I watch it in dub version as well. I also read the manga and, once again, even though I know what’s going to happen, it’s like seeing it for the first time when watching it in animation form. For the person below who’s curious about the next arc…After this filler is over, they go right back into the manga storyline again. Personally, part of me is kind of afraid to see what they do with Hidan in the dub version. He’s awesome in sub, I just hope they don’t ruin him in the dub version. :-/

His name is Genma Shiranui and the reason he sounds like Ichigo is because his English voice actor is Johnny Yong Bosch who also does the voice for Ichigo on Bleach. He also did Sasori’s real voice in the earlier episodes during the whole thing with Gaara. And the thing in his mouth isn’t a toothpick, hon, it’s a senbon, the only weapon I’ve ever seen him use. :-)

You’ve got a very good ear. You would be correct. His name is Kotetsu Hagane and his voice actor, Liam O’Brien, also does Gaara’s voice. Those are actually the only two voices he plays in Naruto, well, the only two that he’s credited for for that series anyway. He’s also on Bleach as Jushiro Ukitake, the one Captain who’s sick…hehe. :-)

Too much time was wasted in this episode. There was like 14mins of actual substance. Thats when you cut the opening and closing and all the wasted time of naruto chasing sora. Its almost as bad as fucking DBZ. At least were not spending 4 episodes to charge a gaint energy ball.

This was nothing, it was actually extremely good, especially compared to how long things take sometimes but at least they make it worth it. and if you’ve watched Naruto before u should be used to it, remember how long it took Sarutobi to finish that fight with Orochimaru? Well it’s also cuz they were going back and forth with that and the thing with Gaara, they do that alot. But if u don’t even like it then go find another anime. You’ll be missing out tho cuz Naruto’s amazing :)

Why are there morons spouting the word filler left and right. Big shit’s going down in the story. If things are happening in the story, no matter how small, then it is not filler. There is no such thing as filler. Every episode of every show has some sort of significance. That’s why the episode was made. duhhhh
filler tends to just mean content that isn’t in the manga
its called filler cuz this story doesnt exist in the mangas original official storyline therefore the episode isnt really relevant to anything its just a story told in the meantime to let the manga get ahead enough for them to get back to the story again

it is called a proctor. Yes thinking about it this is the probably the most compelling of all of the fillers. A true “filler” is something that doesn’t blend with the main story arc. Flashback episodes are an example of this.
