And I forgot to say: Great episode! Sai has finally shown a little emotion! Now, we’ll finally get to see Saseke. Hopefully, Naruto can control the fox demon’s chakra this time.
I also don’t get why people hate the english dubbed version of Naruto. So what if it’s cencored! I prefer shows that don’t have too much swearing in it. I hate that! Something like shut up! or bastard! is fine. The swears just ruin the quality of the story. And taking away the bloody scenes will not kill you! It’S just less violent. Having too much blood is not so fun either. Like bloody scenes in bleach, for exemple, are perfect. If you like swearing and violence, go watch something as tasteless as family guy or south park (no offence to those who watch it. it’s your choice to watch it. It’s only my opinion).

The amount of filler that goes on in an average episode of naruto is out of control. I’ve never seen such little plot development in 20 minutes. It’s infuriating.

i absolutely hated naruto, but shippuden seems like it has a way better plot to it. and another reason why it takes so long for these episodes to come out is that most of the eng. voice actors are also busy with other animes such as bleach. all it takes is patience

Ok, there is something that i dont understand. Why is everyone upset about the fact that Shippuden is on Disney XD? Also, why is everyone upset about the edits that were made to the show? What is the big deal?

The only thing that annoys is that they cut out scenes, other then that if I don’t have anything else to watch and its on I’ll watch it.
Even the cutting things out hardly bothers me at all. i mean, yes i did watch the subbed episodes first, but even still none of the edits that were made on Disney XD make me like the show even less. In fact, for the network that it is on, i feel the edits were perfect.
They hate it because it censors out all the good stuff and completely takes off the funny stuff. Like in Japanese, Sai says “dick” in English he says “balls” and with Disney, they completely take out that so it goes from Naruto standing up to Sakura in the water and then the girls start laughing so it misses the whole joke entirely.
Aww, man! I wish the next episodes were out. . . . I want to find out what happens!!! It’s nearly KILLING me!

I remember waiting for dub shows to come out but I got too tired of waiting and watched them in japanese and now I caught all the way up and now I’m waiting for the new episodes to come out :))
id rather have them just release one episode a week so i dont watch all of the episodes in one day and have to wait forever for the next episodes :(

i like the idea with the episodes being released…but they need to cutback with 5 every month…the disney xd series is catching the uncensored episodes and that’s just not right…1 episode every week or 2 every 2 weeks would be fine…for the disney xd to catch up…just not worth the wait
im not sure why these dubbings seem to be taking so freaking long?? in japan they have to “make” the anime AND do the voice acting, and they ‘still’ release episodes quicker then this. its pretty frustrating when you think about it.
one new episode for every week, that’s how it works, just every show works that way.

Something I find amusing and annoying with anime is when there is a main character that isn’t that much of a fighter or not a fighter at all many people start to hate them and call them useless, there is more to a story then fighting, each main character and some minor characters bring something to the story so they are not useless.
normally i would agree with you, but you an idiot. in an anime “about” fighting a character with a lead role who cannot fight definitely has an air of uselessness to him/her. this is not so much true for other minor character roles as they have less affect and/or aren’t necessarily required to fight but are invovled in other ways which can be many things. but even then they have to be involved in some way, whether its a side story be it personal or intertwining with the main plot. or have some point to there reason for existing in the story in the first place. this is why most people hate sakura so intensely. even i don’t like her. she has no point. in any way shape or form. shes just some girl with a crush on some guy who cry’s a lot because the guys a douchebag. though ill admit now shes not as pointless or annoying as she once was.
well all I know is that naruto shippuden is definitely a step up from the somewhat more childish original series and that although these were for the most part fillers, that the next few will be what these fillers were preparing you for. It is not as if the workers at viz purposely stopped the episode at a definitel cliff hanger. For 1. They release 4 episodes at what is around a monthly basis and do not purposely stop at a certain episode unless they release 5 making the one after the climax. 2. Its not like they created this story those “fillers” were on the manga which demonstrates their importance. Anyways who cares Naruto is a well written show with good characters, heavily strategic battles, and excellent dialog mixed with a brilliant plot( Although they could work on the repetitive flashbacks. Well just sit back relax un til the next episode of the best anime . If you read all this you must have a vast amount of time on your hands, heh dont fret i did too. XD

You are the one who does not know the meaning of true friendship. TRUE friendship is when people stick by you no matter what. The ups and the downs. Clearly Sakura has shown both. The whole knocking them into next week is a basic comic twist on ticking her off. But despite that, she’s always been there for them both and cares about them both (in her own way). Every time she’s cried, it’s to show she’s sad and she cares. She’s not a cry baby. She’s real, not fake like you.
Sakura hits them and calls them names to keep them in line, she is a very good friend to them and when you said “no one else doesn’t” you were implying that the other members of team 7 do have families because that’s a double negative, just sayin’

Actually, you would be the naive fool. To give up on a friend, even if they don’t consider you one, is just… Well, I don’t know the right word, but from Naruto’s point of view Sasuke is the first person who accepted him and a good friend, why give up on Sasuke when his life is in danger ( Orochimaru wants to take over his body, meaning Sasuke would sort of die if that happened, I guess ).
I do understand that Sasuke was the first person to truly understand Naruto, so it makes sense as to why he wants to save him. But why doesnt Naruto see that Sasuke doesnt care about him or anything he stands for anymore? But as a true friend, even if they dont want them to, you save them no matter what the cost.
Honestly, I think not only is Naruto not giving up on Sasuke for the sake of their bond and friendship but Naruto wants to be hokage and what kind of hokage leaves behind their best friend? Plus I think that this is a huge character trait for Naruto. He doesn’t give up on anyone. It’s who he is. Also, I do think that since no one ever believed in Naruto that he almost feels obligated to believe that there is still good in Sasuke and that he can be saved. One more thing: In one of the Shippuden movies (which one, I don’t quite remember) Naruto is falling through the sky and they show that Sasuke was about to go save him until someone else catches him before Sasuke can. That shows that Sasuke isn’t completely done with befriending Naruto yet. He just needed to get stronger.
Hmm kinda a whole lot of doing nothing but at the same time i quite liked it lol, cant wait for the next ones :P
I hate all of these idiots who keep saying stuff like, “Sasuke is a bastard. Just get over it. They should kill Sai. I hate the talking. This is boring filler. I want to just see the fighting.” Naruto would suck if it was just fighting. There has to be a lot of build up to make the fight really dramatic and exciting. In fact, I kind of prefer episodes like these because they are a lot more interesting, dramatic, and plot-affecting. The excitement of the fighting is only one part of why Naruto is so great. Everything in this show means something. So, in my opinion, Naruto has never had any filler whatsoever. Not even episodes 150-220 of original Naruto were really filler. Filler is when the episode doesn’t matter at all. And last, about Sasuke and Sai. Anyone who hates or doesn’t care about them clearly has never had anything sad happen to them and is too stupid to understand emotions. Or maybe you just didn’t listen carefully to what the characters are saying because you are too busy complaining about the voices that are actually A LOT better than the Japanese ones.
I agree with you Giga Charizard. The more suspense and more information about the characters the more and more i love watching Naruto. The emotions of the characters makes them more “real”. That’s good writing!

1. This, and alot of the episodes that were released this month have been SUCH fillers. They add so much dead silence which does add a bit of climax but they went a bit to far with it and made these episodes obvious fillers. Aside from that, there is so much talking that u can tell they r fillers, although i admit that the plot development was interesting although they didnt go far enough with it and inevitably after all the suspense you bare watching these episodes, you get a cliff hanger that is just plain annoying
2. I want to see the next episodes sooooo badly after seeing the preview at the end!!!

I only read the first 2 sentences of what you said and I had to stop. The silences are there for a reason. They are not fillers to take up the time. Apparently, they want you to observe the expressions of the characters and create a dramatic feel to the setting, especially at the place they are in, silence is an important aspect to their survival. You want them to talk a lot, commotions will just bring about and make them get caught.
No i agree that these episodes were fillers, we already know about the dramatic stuff there is to know because of naruto. If the people watching Naruto Shippuden don’t know about Naruto and Sasuke then they shouldn’t be watching Shippuden and should watch the original Naruto series.

The episodes are not so much filler episodes, but episodes filled with filler. The use of extended flashbacks are what annoy me. Filling up the episode with clips from from previous episodes is just lazy. A quick look back to what a character said is fine, but there reshowing entire conversations. As if they expect that we have all forgotten what happened 2 episodes ago. Good for Alsymers patients I guess.
