I really hate to say this I really do but I feel this movie brought down the series =/ I mean the idea of the gundam franchise is they look into political, diverse and many other different conflicts in a (almost) realistic fashion not with aliens and giant flowers in outer-space the series was good excellent one of my top 3 but the movie Im sorry it seemed a bit silly good message though
Whats silly about flowers? It was a symbol of peace taken obviously from Setsunas mind when they shared thoughts.

In gundam Seed Kira Yamato was the ultimate coordinator and in Gundam 00 setsuna is the ultimate innovator, however in gundam seed you had a good blend of drama, romance, action, etc. and gundam 00 just barely gives you that. What made gundam seed and gundam seed destiny so good was that it helped you understand all the different characters and their stories. I respect Gundam 00 and its message but it barely reaches the bar that Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny have placed so high in the Gundam series.
Dont even try to compare the two. 00 hands down has better seasons. As for the Movie not so much. 00 has action, drama, and romance too. What did you watch?
Are you under 18 whatevs? I’ve never seen anyone over 18 publically say that Gundam Seed Destiny was a good show, for one it was complete shit, they ruined the characters from Gundam Seed, especially Cagalli, changing her from a somewhat strong minded leader who loves Athrun to a one dimensional emo crying bitch with no personality, and the way Shinn Asuka had no personality and was just plain emo and unlikable too.
I’m guessing you havent seen any Universal Century Gundam or Gundam Unicorn either, it was only since Gundam Seed that they even started the teen romance crap to appeal to girls too.

All i got to say is great movie good overall message at the end. also there reason Setsuna when to Marina and not to Feldt is one Feldt said it herself. His love is too big for just one person but she still loves him and that all that matters. Also he is not going to Marina for a reunion with some long lost love he is going to she to let she know the after all this time he now knows that she was right. That peace through war is not peace its fear and she know now that although he when about using war ultimately by hating him (Celestial begin) it did united world. And it was that understanding is way he when to Marina.
They should probably make a third season just to elaborate the time span before of the epilogue of the future. This series was only half as long as Mobile Suit Gundam Seed plus Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. Other than that it was a pretty epic movie.

There will always be conflicts in the world, however the Innovades/Innovators have learnt to exist with humanity, thus the ending. The world is in a state of peace and Celestial Beings point is complete, as there is no wars to fight, nothing.
Aeolia formed Celestial Being to bring humanity together, end the wars and push humanity out into Space to explore the universe.
They have done that :P

To understand and like this movie you need to watch season 1 and 2, then the movie not the movie then done no no.I liked it because it was basicly there goal to protect and stop war.So they made that goal true I hope they atleast make a new series or a second movie this is so good.

so over all MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00 AWKENING OF THE TRAILBLAZER was awesome, in mostly all parts.sure it might not be like the other gundam movies but but in my opinion it fits the series. sure in the movie feldt actually likes setsuna and shows that she has feelings and in the series it looked like marina showed feelings for setsuna but in the movie marina hardly makes in apperance.but either way it was good that feldt likes setsuna, but it was pretty strange that setsuna goes to marina when shes all old. that was one of the biggest downers in this movie.yes they should of shown setsuna and feldt going to the sunset.and they should of shown what happened to the people who were fighting. it didnt show what happened weather kati and her man reunited, noriaga ever meet with her man. they left a lot of unanwsered questions in this movie. all in all this movie was awesome. mostly everthing was great. great battles,storyline, feelings and all that.except for that space flower. didint see that one coming.the worst thing that happened in the series and the movie is that its over. no more MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00. in shorter words ITS AN AWESOME FUCKING ANIME SERIES+MOVIE!

Feldt speant 2 seasons(50 episodes) being in love with lockon stratos, there was nothing between her and Setsuna at all in the series, they were just friends.
However at numerous points in the series Setsuna and Marina were close/caring for one another, such as when she tells Setsuna to stop fighting and to come back to her homeland with her to help rebuild her country, the way she understands how Setsuna is feeling and pretty much the way she looked after him exclusively at the Katheron base when he was injured, they were all lovey and stuff lol
Or how Setsuna when he saw Marinas name on the prison list went to rescue her, the way Setsuna at the end of Season 1 does a letter to Marina because he knows she understands him.
I can name a ton more examples of how Marina and Setsuna have a bond, you only have to watch the series :P
I expected people to go all squeeee Feldt x Setsuna, but thats just a ridiculus pulled out the creators ass plot point with no substance.

i thought this movie was good. only thing i say is that they need some kind of sub movie, to explain why Setsuna took soooooo long to come back and what he learned, and what happen to the other main characters.

Setsuna should have been with Marina centuries ago and not wait until she is a old woman and practically almost died. The movie was okay until the last part and the ending everything else was good.
I think it was good enough , but the whole who liked who is too damn confusing.
One thing is that Felt didn’t liked that Herro clone,she liked Lockon. Season 1 Lockon , not his brother.
the other thing is that i dont think he liked females. He shrugged off Neina Trinity like if she was some annoying sister or something, and also Marina’s country destroyed Krugis in the Solar Power Wars. Not to mentioned that if there were a thing between them,the new Earth Sphere Federation would use her to get to him and to the real solar reactors so that relationship is going nowhere.
He’s more like Tiera than people think. those it’s kinda odd that he became from a TRUE inovator newtype to some ES Hybrid. Can I say Gundam Seed much???
Yeah, it was good, should have have another season to explore romantic interests and such, but overall a good movie.
I honestly didn’t like it. And i like most gundam movies… This one’s plot was pretty crappy.
I agree that the ending did lack some character closure but I think what makes this movie so great was the overall message at the end; and it makes you wonder why people can sometimes never get along.

It was ok, BUT THE ENDING SUCKED SOME HUGE BALLS. setsuna was supposed to hook up with felt (or how ever you spell her name). he was supposed to wake up with her by his side, say i love you and all that. go off to fight. and almost get his ass kicked. then hear her voice, go all rage kill, rescue her from floating in space after the ship was destroyed, save the rest by forcing the “els” to surrender and open up to seeing things in a different way. then fly off with felt into the sunset.
Lol wut. It was never implyed in the series that Setsuna liked Feldt, nor was it really implied in the movie he liked her either.
Setsuna loves Marina. It’s pretty much confirmed in the series, and at the end, which I wont spoil because other people will be watching this, but you know how Setsuna appears in the future to Marina. Because shes important to him.
just saying, it would be a much better end to the series if there was some closure for the other characters, as well as a love interest for the main character. instead of him coming back made of metal.
I disagree, the ending stayed true to the series and Setsunas character.
Setsuna in the series had a messed up childhood, as a result he found it hard to connect with people emotionally and to pretty much be himself around others, when he met Marina he was able to be the Setsuna he’s always wanted to be, and in Marinas case she was able to be a young woman and not just the Princess all the time, whilst they were together.
Because of this they shared a deep connecting bond, they both cared/loved one another, and their actions dictated how the series evolved.
Feldts feelings for Setsuna were always one way, he never showed any love or affection towards her, maybe treated her as a friend but nothing more. Pairing them both together would be both ridiculus and forced.
Besides, Gundam hasn’t always been about the love/romance lol
Anyway, Setsuna is still part human, he’s an ELS/Human hybrid.

To be honest I was a disappointed with the movie, sure it had plenty of good action, but it lacked many things like what happen to the rest of Celestial being. No to mention I disliked the ending like how your man and the pink hair girl didn’t get together despite her confessing her feelings to him and how he wasn’t even human anymore, not to mention I wanted to see what his mobile suit could do, yet it didn’t doo all that much or add much effect to the battle except to stopipng it by making contact with the metal aliens
2 things.
1. Setsuna doesnt love Feldt.
2. Setsuna is still human, he’s an ELS/Human hybrid, he’s the product of 2 species merging together in harmony i.e Human and ELS. Setsuna still has his feelings and emotions, stuff like that. Otherwise he wouldnt of came back in the future to see Marina. No clue if thats in this video but its a scene at the end of the movie where Setsuna shows up and sees her.
