DAMN! I’ve seen this movie like 4 times, but DAAAMN. The ending still makes me cry and I don’t know why. D;
But man, I was DYING when I first saw Al in Lior. I thought he was Ed at first, but when I heard it was Alphonse, I was like “OH MY GOD ALPHONSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU WITH YOUR HAIR LIKE DAT >3_> WHY’D YOU HAVE TO GO AND LEAVE RIZA LIKE DAT YOU FOOL!
…OMG, the end. T^T The first time I saw this and Al came out of the armor at the end, it was over for me. Cause, y’know, Alphonse wanted to be with Ed! AND THATS SO DAMN CUTE! So I don’t think the ending was THAAAT bad, but it could’ve been better. Idk how, but it could’ve. Cause this movie was good as hell, but didn’t fill me up. :3

Code Geass ending was good I mean I wish it was longer but you got to see lelouches goal be accomplished. Did anyone notice how he didn’t die, remember the end of the series(C2 was talking and it ended with isn’t that right lelouches?) then you see his eye and it cuts.
I cant believe they ended it like this wtf right in the middle of WW2, now there gonna go investigate the war and Hitler, thats stupid. I mean yea they found their bods and ed found his dad, but wtf did it have to end like that. Mustang became a general, but dose he become fueler and on that note who is the fueler.

Personally, I kinda liked the plot the animators came up with more than the actual story line. Except for the ending that is.
If it wasent Fullmetal Alchemist Movie: The Conqueror of Shambala i would have totally been confused! They should have stayed n their own world! && They shouldnt have left the end of FMA with Al & Ed seperated. Atleast there together now :) But i still love FMA.

CZ your fucking retarded, as someone who has watched both brotherhood and now this series, and also read alot of the manga, this series was more original, brotherhood was good, but it lacked the seriousness of this one. It would have these awkward moments where you didn’t really know whether to take it for real or as a comic relief, which is good at points but not during every single moment, anyways, this series is no doubt the best, its original and they explained everything even if it was different that they brought our world into it. They made it work, kudos to the makers of this one. It was also very good they made it in 51 episodes, i mean it kept something happening in every episode without having to just put fillers in, everything related to the end.

I was so pissed after seeing FMA 1-51 because of the ending. Thank god i watched the movie or else i would be pissed with the series forever i hated that ed and al were going to be apart and now that the series actually ended with them together was awesome screw you haters

for all the noobs, FMA has not ended. the first anime was an original plot. the anime was basically an OVA . Based on the characters from the FMA manga, to make an original anime.
i hate mega video i have been waiting for it to load after getting half way through the film and it says after 5 seconds of actually watching it that i have watched 72 minutes and that is really pissing me off no. I mean why do they even need a timer on the videos i really hate this i cant even watch the rest of the film now!!!

I think that the ending was happy, but at the same time sad because they aren’t in their own world, leaving Winry and all their friends behind. I really wish that the series had gone on, FMA is my most favorite anime ever.

I also forgot to point out that in our world ed wont be abil to find automail the stuff he had was made by his dad and he is dead now so he needs to take dam good care of what he has at the end. He also needs to hope he doesn’t grow any more.

actually in the movie ed’s dad made his automail. You remember? It was close to the beginning, and he could move his fingers and toes. Winry gave him his old automail when he went back to his world. All DragonLord was trying to say was that since his dad is gone, and winry is in the other world, that ed better take good care of the automail he has because he has no set mechanic to fix it.

winry did not die. And no i don’t think she will get over it she was/is very obviously in love with ed and he with her. Destroying both sides to the gate is redundant as if they destroyed it on their end the one on the other end would lead nowhere like if you were to block off one end of a tunnle. FMA brotherhood is good so far after the first 2 but thas not a lot to go on i agree with dragonkeeper that yu yu hakisho is the best anime ever but i say bleach is a close second to it followed by FMA at a close third.
Brotherhood actually has a hell of a lot to go on. It is based off the manga. The first anime was Identical until wrath’s first episode.
in Brotherhood, Pride is wrath, Wrath and sloth are different, Lust is always an enemy, Greed dies completly differently, and is reborn, and all the humonculi have Philosiphers Stones inside them. And they don’t want to become human.
So yeah, brotherhood has a lot to go on.
omg FMA is rated 1st in my world. and if u think FMA brotherhood isnt all that great, then watch the rrest of it. they have up to 45 eps so far and eps 43-35 are totally awesome!

everyone was so obsessed with fma so i had to finally give it a chance. i was bias at first and was thinking how can this be everyones favorite. i watched the whole series and then the movie. it started out slow for me but the end of the series and them ovie put everything in perspective and it turned out to be a great anime.
This wasn’t really sad it was happy, the whole point of Ed and Al’s quest was to get each others original body back. Now the brothers are reunited. About the part leaving Winry, she didn’t seem to mind it much when they left since she knew that they never would stay long, and it’s what they wanted. In my opinion it was a great ending to a great show.
And if anyone wants to know this is the end to FMA, but FMA Brotherhood, is the same anime but just it is based on the Manga more than anime. It is still a subbed ting for us.

Well, the ending was kinda happy… Except that Ed and Al can’t use alchemy in that world, can never see their friends again, and Ed will always use second rate automail without Winry… Still, it was a great series!

they dont have it in english yet. dubbed is coming out in april. right now, they have fma brotherhood up to 41 subbed. hope that helped ^^

For FMA, yes, the whole series (which is almost all fillers) ends. FMA: Brotherhood is the series that follows the anime more. And I’m glad that the manga is still ongoing. :D

Why does everyone say it’s a sad ending? Yeah, Ed and Al left the world they belong in and left everyone they made friends with, but they are reunited. That was the whole point in the movie. Plus, didn’t Ed say in the series that they didn’t have a home anymore to Winery?
