This doesn’t make sense.. Wasn’t Rukia dead/dying? i would assume she wouldn’t be cut off from the series.. but there wasn’t any show of recovery or anything..
And also, what happened with Chad and that Espada guy? That just cut off..
And Renji and Uryu? I get that they were going to run away or whatever, but that never finished. This is too confusing..
Couldn’t they have dedicated at least one episode showing how the hell Ichigo and everyone else got out of Hueco Mundo?
the reason for all of this being messy is probs cuz it doesnt show the illustrated shingami book at the end a small show about 1 min long go find it and it should be more clear whats happening

…. Is this after the currently unfinished Hueco Mundo mission to save orihime? or before? … it cant be before.
It’s so confusing…. Uryu has his powers back and his new bow in this episode.
But before this episode (Ep 143), Uryu has recently got his powers, is told by kisuke that orihime has been taken (while uryu is still in secret training ground) uryu gets released/recruited by Kisuke making prep, waiting for itchigo to come to his store that same night.
And then they immediately went to Hueco Mundo the same night!!… There is NO TIME in the story for this to be before the Hueco Mundo mission…
grrrr so frustrating can some1 explain how the Bleach ppl justified this mess?
Well, judging from the information the narrator so kindly gave at the beginning of ep. 168, i would imagine it’s a co-story that’s going on DURING Ichigo’s mission to hueco mundo.
wait a second… never mind. I guess you’re right, that couldnt be during the main hueco mundo arc. so i guess i should have watched the episode first xP.
This is after the Hueco Mundo mission. It can’t be during because Ichigo and everyone is in the world of the living. But the narrator makes it sound like it is during the Hueco Mundo mission, somehow.
Well I would assume the New captain arriving and the things happening in the soul soceity could have been during… but then itchigo and his friends show up and it’s like wwwwhhhhaaatttt???? Anyway it just so broken…
after a few episodes from this arc, we go to the main arc then a few episodes we go into a arc called zunpacto rebellion arc which is actually good, better than the bount arc which actually dragged…

It;s a little confusing when they don’t put a time line…
bankai to kill 6 or 7 hollows……… this is why i hate fillers. completely kills all traces of epicness previous arcs have spent so long to build. it just cheapens the whole experience.
however, ive heard good things about this filler, and not all fillers are bad so ill continue with it…. though i really wish the producers didn’t treat us as if we have 4 second memories and we couldn’t POSSIBLY remember the specifics of the show….. like power levels, for instance…
You’ve contradicted yourself. At the beginning of the series, in the very first arc, hollows were not easy to kill. And despite being regular hollows, they ARE hollows. It’s very likely Ichigo could have died, trapped under a dozen hollows, if he had not used Bankai.
I dont think TheJaydeio contradicted himself/herself at all… You have to remember, in the beginning ichigo had no idea what he was doing… Since he has gotten strong enough to defeat soul reaper captains and stronger… Remember ichigo defeated kempachi without a bankai, And do you really think kempache (or any captain for that matter) would be phased by a few small fry hallows? Especially hallows that uruyu could take out dozens with a spray of arrows.
Which since uruyu does have his powers and that new bow, it means this happened after Hueco Mundo…. Which is weird becuase now theres a HUGE gap in the story… One that they probably wont fill until AFTER this “filler” season =(…

he did not need bankai to defeat Captain Kenpachi Zaraki.. Are you telling me that CAPTAIN Zaraki would be defeated by some crappy low level hollows? Since that is not possible, then why would even 100 low lvl hollows be able to kill/harm Itchigo (No Bankai)?

This ep was filled with epic moments the best was Orihime’s description of a princess, also if you listened last ep they said this takes place at a different time to the main story, at least these fillers are better than the bount arc

I do have to say I’m not the least impressed with this filler business.. I didnt get to see the crew beat on the treachorus squad captains…. The new episodes are a bit on the boring side dont you think… I hope the story picks up soon.. Oh yeah, wtf is with the animation in this episode? New guy?
wow what a bunch of crap, I understand they are using this filler to introduce new characters and possibly new enemies, but is it really that much to ask to finish the main story first?! so dumb!
Why arent they still in wako munda ? What about the guy that knocked out chad or the guy that beat Rukia? This is no doubt a filler or they just got lazy with the story =L

A getsuga tensu would be more than enough to take care of these hollows. He hadn’t to use his bankai. This filler arc is really a pain. But we don’t have much of a choice after all. Oh it’s such a drag.
If this is after all the fights in wake-O-moondo, then shouldn’t Ichigo be super strong or something?
this filler is gonna last awhile (20 eps = 20 weeks = 140 days) it will be about febuary when it ends..

I know what you mean. I wouldn’t recommend either this or the previous filler arc to anyone. They are a waste of time in comparison with the real eps. Still under the current circumstances you don’t have much of a choice. Either you watch them or you keep on waiting. Still to answer your question, this filler arc starts on episode 168 and ends with episode 189. After the last one, we go back to Hueco Mundo!!!
on 190 starts actual story line, but not for loong :(
190 is a recap episode of the arc before, then it continues up until the 229, 230 – 265 is all filler

this arc has nothing to do with the main story line so unlike other anime like naruto and one piece. this has no certain time or place this is just a story they put in

No, this is lame. Last ep they said Ichigo was still in Hueco Mundo and that the fight was still going on, plus you’ve got the whole Soul Society disowning anyone who went with Ichigo. Uryū is working with soul reapers which there isn’t an easy loophole for so his pops should be pissed. They kind of skipped alot, I’d rather see all these parts than just have it be flashbacks.

I’m guessing since the anime needed to play some filler episodes while the manga had time to get ahead and ichigo/friends were in the hollow world fighting the arrancars and all that they didn’t really have a choice but either make some random storyline filler which I’m guessing either took place before or takes place after when ichigo/friends were fighting the arrancars, so once this story arc is over it’ll go back to whatever part in the timeline the ichigo/friends fighting arrancars arc is at.

Hate to break this to you, but this is not the longest filler in the series. That “title” goes to the 2 arcs right after ichigo started his fight with ulquioria. This filler lasted from episode 227 through 265. That was a long one. Not to mention the two bount arcs were also filler. Give this one a chance, it starts out really bad, but it does get good toward the end.
